We are back from holiday and with a whole week's worth of bent to catch up on i'm going to try to keep this post succinct and bring out 10 funny stories from holiday (not in any order and not my top 10, just 10 funny moments) and hope that the others can fill in some of the missing stories that I don't write about.
1) Video Blogs - We started making a video blog before and after going out, this didn't last long. First night Gary was Absol and fell asleep outside so he missed out, second night J and I lost the others so made it on our own and that was it. From watching them back though there were some funny quotes from the videos:
When talking about his night out J explained 'we went to Las Americas, I don't remember anything after that' another quote from J 'its making me feel uncomfortable just looking at the camera' and 'we are going to have girls round....and i don't know whats going to happen' (if only you knew before mate).
2) Nutter on a moped - We went to reminise times gone by after a walk by visiting Island Vilage where some guy pulled us over and started babbling on about some bar crawl for 48euros. Cutting a long sales pitch short none of us showed any interest whatsoever and when he said he would come round to our accommodation to collect the money later but wanted a deposit now we all said no we had no money. Then he got angry and said if I shook you upside down your telling me no money would fall out. What a knob.
3) Fun pool games - Ranging from two epic tread water contests to seeing who could swim the furthest with hands in pockets and no leg movement allowed, running around people to cause a current, touching a ball in the air, making some ridiculous noises whilst battering the ball back and forth and a tug of war using eachother as the rope not moving anywhere!
4) Alright for drinks - One barmaid came up to us when we all had fresh new pints and asked if we were all 'alright for drinks'. Lawrence also broke into a conversation with a shot girl and asked if she was alright for a drink. She accepted resulting in a very upset chopper.
5) Wotsit - J and I were sat creaming up when J trod on something. He exclaimed...'Whatsat?....oh its a Wotsit, probably sounds stupid but it was extremely funny at the time.
6) Rats - By the end of one evening 3 rats and 2 squeaky toys had been bought.
7) Gary returning pissed - Gary went his own way one evening only to return by knocking on the door and squeaking his toy. He told us how he had played knock a door run on the girls house and when his girl finally answered he responded with 'Hey...its me' again probably doesnt sound funny now but it was a corker at the time. He also explained how Les-ree was still upstairs.
8) Silly questions - What would fucked's wife eat for a starter? Pate and toast, potato wedges, garlic mushrooms or melon? What does Paul Sutcliffe's wife use to time her dinner? The Oven, an egg timer, the wall clock? Where does Lesley Wheeler Shop? Sainsburys, Morrisons, Tescos, Aldi, Lidl, Waitrose?
9) Holiday music - Ranging from Big break to fan favourite Phil Francis' rendition of Make me Smile, to farting music on J's ipod.
10) Shirt swapping - Think we should do this on nights out more often just seeing people squeeze into Gary's vest was entertaining enough for me.
